Ajshanisque Chandler led off the inning by getting on base by hustling down the line after a dropped strike three. Two passed balls and two outs later Ajshanisque was standing on third base. We talked about getting an aggressive lead in case the ball got by the catcher again and for her motion to carry her home. The pitcher threw one in the dirt that got by the catcher to the backstop and Ajshanisque charged home. She went so fast she ran past home completely missing the plate, realizing her mistake she was able to touch the plate before being tagged out. The umpire called her safe and the Lady Warriors had a 7—6 lead. At the end of the inning the umpires called the game due to darkness and the Lady Warriors celebrated their hard fought victory.
