Honestly, how did you think the team would do before the homecoming game?
“In the beginning I thought we were going to do ok, but we did better than what I expected, because in practice a lot of people played around and wasn’t focused mentally.”

Are you shocked by the season so far this year?
“Yes; I think we should be doing better!”

What are the key components for the outcome of this past season?
“Our attitudes are different and we’re more focused because of our coaches

Do you have any pre-game rituals?
“Have quiet time and a lot of prayer because being the quarterback of a team is a lot of pressure.”

Talk a little about off-season training.
“The team started two weeks after the previous team finished and we had intense summer workouts and spring trainings.”

Is it stressful being a senior and playing football?
“It’s a lot of pressure on and off the field, but especially in the classroom.”

What is an East Warrior to you?
“Someone who is willing to wear scarlet and grey and “go to war””

What are your hobbies?
“I play basketball and football”

What’s your advice to freshmen who are struggling to find their identity?
“Just be yourself and go to class!”

“Jay-Z- blueprint, Michael Jackson- Off The Wall, and Hannah Montana.”
